Seeing the need for food among those who visited the Milton Township General Assistance Department, some of the office employees began bringing in what food they could to help them out. By 2002, the food pantry had grown to become its own charity funded by donors and staffed by volunteers. Open three days a week for drop-ins and five days a week to those with appointments, the pantry provides non-perishable items based on household size up to two times per month.

This pantry was created in 1981 by the United Methodist Church of Lombard, but in 2021, it was consolidated with three other outreach initiatives and incorporated in its own right. They are open three days during the week and one Saturday per month to provide a box containing canned food, dry goods, and fresh vegetables. If available, they may also receive fresh bread, meats, milk, and eggs. Food can be received once a week or more often if needed.
